Small Sprouts Preschool

We are a safe place designed to nurture the spiritual, intellectual, social/emotional, and physical needs of children, while keeping Jesus at the center of all we do.

Small Sprouts Preschool was established as an outreach to families where Christ is honored and a connecting point for families where Christ is not yet known. We embrace the Biblical teaching that parents are their children’s primary instructors. We desire to support each home represented in our preschool by partnering together to provide quality Christ-centered early education program. Small Sprouts is an integral part of the ministry of Bethel Church. The preschool staff serves an expression of their love for Jesus Christ. We aim to assist families in helping their children come to know that Jesus loves them and desires to be their personal Savior and friend. Additionally, it is the goal of the preschool to provide a safe, nurturing environment that is conducive to the needs of the total child.

It is our aim to supplement the home in providing experiences that promote the spiritual, intellectual, social/emotional, and physical development of the young child while keeping Jesus at the center of all we do. It is the philosophy of Small Sprouts that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, curiosity, security, exploring, and discovery. It is the combination of playmates, open-ended and creative experiences, a Jesus-centered atmosphere, and warm, competent teachers which make our preschool such a valuable experience. It is also our belief that our preschool program must consist of positive, intentional strategies and interactions designed to help children flourish and meet their individual goals.  We strive to teach children to be inquisitive learners who seek to discover the way things work and find answers about the world around them. This is sought after through many avenues; the provision of developmentally appropriate child-centered materials and hands-on activities, sparking their curiosity about the world God created and the way things work through open-ended questions, books, classroom design, and large group activities.

We believe that giving children a consistent daily routine allows them to feel secure and develop a sense of time. A routine allows them to be more responsible, independent, and confident. Each class at Small Sprouts will have a consistent daily routine that will be adapted to fit the interests, goals, and needs of the children.

The daily schedule will include:
*Circle Time
*Bible Story Time
*Prayer
